How the early years build up
This is how good preschools usually work, in general. The school will describe its own approach and curriculum.

Hands first, then pencils
Before neat letters come strong little fingers: playdough, beads, crayons and slates. Writing then grows from big strokes to letters to words. Parents of Kingston children single out the attention given to writing in their reviews.

Stories every day
Rhymes, picture books and talking time build the vocabulary children need for reading in Class 1.

Art, music and movement
Colour, rhythm and play help children concentrate, take turns and feel confident on a stage, like the annual function parents mention.
To be provided by the school Curriculum, books or programme the school follows, and a sample weekly timetable.
